hahah i was reading the previous post and i realise i haven't told u about my class camp! if my memory's correct that is. which i think it is. haha ohman it's so long ago. xP hmm, anyway the ropes course was hilarious man, although i must add that i didn't exactly find it exactly funny at that time. well anyway my partner was my classmate who's scared of heights, and since i'm not exactly brave and courageous when balancing on a puny log a few metres off the ground, you can imagine how disastrous it was. well so anyway when we went up my partner was cursing the whole way HAHA. And there was one log where i had to step on him to get up and the moment my foot went down he went "AHHH" and my classmates watching from the ground started scolding him for not being a gentleman AHAHA. Needless to say, we were probably the slowest pair xP haha ohman i wouldn't wanna go up there again, not willingly at least, my arms and legs were trembling the entire time, especially on the last log when i was hanging on for dear life (and my classmates below were taking photo of us up there, bet my smile looked contorted) hmm ohyeah i liked nightwalk alot! it was like walking in a storybook, somehow=D
hmm. on to more recent stuff. ohhh i haven't told u about music trip right?? haha i realise got a lot of things that i haven't told u about, seriously haven't talked to u for years, other than that day in the canteen that isxP hmm nyways we went to birmingham paris (if u haven't heard from the band-mep ppl) where we, in summary, learned music, viewed art, ate, ate. and ate. seriously man, our diets were totally excessive and not to mention overflowing with rich (i.e. unhealthy) doses of rich food like butter, cheese, eggs, meat. And considering how much i like cheese, let's just say i didn't practise much self control when surrounded with so much cheese spread (of all kinds too!) And i kinda ate 4 eggs in one day once, not too healthy for the cholesterol levels heh. Haha but other than the food, we went to extremely nice places in paris, like the opera house and the notre dame ohman, if only singapore buildings had just a little bit of the architecture there. But nope, we have changi airport and the durian. ahwells. anw have u been to france ah? i think u have (just not recently)? andd i realise u haven't told me bout ur hols, haha serious updating neededxD
oh and i must whine about the sad state of things in general, "things" meaning *sigh* school meaning -groan- studying aha. and the j2s were telling us to enjoy and treasure our j1 year. So why doesn't it feel too enjoyable now=/ everyone seems to be talking bout having to mug and mug when the cts are just over, guess it's part of the aftermath of getting back results, everyone's shocked into feeling a sudden need to mug. Which is all well and good, except i don't. xP Feel like mugging (yet). It's too early in the term and i feel like being normal for a while more before the real burying-heads-in-books start, especially when i think about how it's gonna be worse next year. Sigh, my grades aren't too good though. grumbles. my gp essay died, for one. haven't got back my lit paper 2, which im not too confident for, eeps.
it's really scary how fast jc life is!! 1 quarter of it is gone already which means technically most of the better part of jc life is gone, how depressing is that. =O though in a more positively light i guess that would mean jc life's gonna be over and done with soonXD of course, we aren't too sure how good that is, since the end of jc life would mean the start of university and beyond (work, mid-life crisis, old age etcetc). hmm. doesn't look quite so appealing anymore =/
k it shall hereby be marg's turn to keep the blog alive!! hahaa. wait ohyes, have i moaned to u about not being able to play trumpet! yes there was once when i tried jinjun's trumpet and my tone sounded like rotten twigs, ok actually im not too sure how rotten twigs sound like but yeah i sounded worse than a wounded elephant, eeee. and it felt really weird without my braces, ahhhh trumpeto is trumpeter no more!! ahhhhh.
ohwell, cya around, which i hardly do actually since, yeah yknow, our diff combinationsx). AND before i forget, i owe marg a hair-pull!! XDDD

chan yan ru arrrr... u should learn from joyce. why u pang seh me in jc to join rock? --insert hammer hitting YR's head here-- haha but oh well, cant really begrudge u for that since...ah well, shall tell u another time. your dental appointment quite convenient timing eh -_-
lol i realised i spent 2/3 of my blog entry so far talking about nothing in particular. oh wait, i just realised ive already gone for class camp and you havent! haha! yes yes, yanru shall get freaking smelly and dirty and scared and disgusted and disgruntled at class camp. mwahahaha. oh you know i did the rope climbing thinggy in the end? the swinging logs one. haha damn embarassing please, i screamed for 15minutes on the first log and hugged the rope thing with both hands and refused to move. it was such a long way downnnnnnn. lol only when this guy came after me did I decide to try moving to the 3rd log or something. when you're up there its freaking scary but in retrospect it was pretty fun actually =)) haha jia you for yours! i know you are likely to sit there and slack but at least try try lar haha! kayaking wasnt very fun since i got wet thanks to juvnile people from my class. hair completely wet please! and the bashas were disgusting. we camped out on the road instead of sleeping in our pitched bashas. lol. then when it rained we shifted to the pavilion. HAHA. damn cool, we played bridge and ate snacks the whole night long. slept at 3.30 a.m. >< the next day almost died when walking from campsite to jetty. the best part was going home and taking a long, hot shower + sleeping for like 4 hours straight. HAHA. oh did i mention that guys can cook surprisingly well? they cooked our dinner completely and it was edible (not bad in fact). haha, stereotype number one thousand busted. lol.
sigh, coming to rjc is really ego-shattering. or ego-bashing if your prefer it that way. everybody is so pro that its freakkay, scary in fact. i find myself constantly wishing that I was better, whether in terms of academics or other areas. sigh, that reminds me, i MUST get a move on with my studies. they are seriously slumping quite badly. lol.
wow, that was quite a long blogpost. must have been in a finger-jittery mood. haha =) anywayz, how is trumpetee? actually i forgot whether i was trumpetee or trumpetoe, so lets rephrase the question: how are you? lol, and the fact that our blog is alive never ceases to amase me. XP. oh wellz, gonna eat dinner now. =) oh another note, I am geting very piggish, lots of snacking during class, between class and before dinner, after lunch, etc. etc. i dont want to weigh myself ergggg, >< ignorance is bliss yar? =))))))

and sigh im not looking forward to class camp, groan, not too excited bout the prospect of sleeping in bashas and climbing up ropes to scare myself half to death. ohyes, and not forgetting getting cooked in the sun to become nicely chao tah. not too appealing.
oh eeps. time is running out so i better go practise my composition ahah. it soudns horrible but whateverxP

June Hols...

Sigh, the March Hols are ending... *sniffles* Sigh, my whole hols was spent rehearsing for band concert PLAY and going out/pigging out/lazing around/ watching TV etc. etc. Not very impressive yar >< Im just wondering why I'm dreading school so much, well at least there are friends to look forward to =) But i just dont want to get swept up in the endless competition and studying for another whole term. How dismal once you think about it. Ergg.
Haha, I must have gained like 5kg during the hols >< all the pigging out (ice cream, pringles, potatoe chips, fast food, loads of chocolate...) was inversely proportional to the amount of exercise -_- hey i sound cheeem =p and some more just went for boon lay youth club related forum today and the catered food was damn nice. therefore, i proceeded to eat this heeped plate of food (loads of fried food) and ate two bowls of cold dessert (some coconut milk and fruit thinggy that was really nice!!) !!! Omg, i really COULDN'T BELIEVE my appetite please!
Sigh, my poor maths tutorial 4 is in a pitible state of completion >< I really need to start working, and physics lecture test on wednesday. bleaaaaagh. thanks for the welcome back to school present physics teachers, i really appreciate it and nope, im not being sarcastic. not at all. haizzzzz, well at least it was postponed once already, can't blame them. hmph.
Ohoh! I passed all the mario levels on my GC except for the weird levels! That means, super mario world 1 and 2, easy levels, hard levels, super hard levels, and bowser levels!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO I ROCK OR WHAT!!!!! MWAHAHAHA.
LOl, at the start of this post i was feeling profoundly emo and now Im feeling significantly better! haha, I think ranting-typing helps to alleviate your mood =) haha, shall go celebrate the last few hours of freedom by doing......*drumroll*.............math tutorial 4 -_-. that brings ur mood down straight away doesn't it. sigh, grrrrrrrr. shall stop procrastinating right now! Go me!! haha =)

Hey!
errmmmm, long time no write =) (understatement, i know). Told YR 2 days ago that it's her turn to update, didn't expect such an immediate response?? Not bad! YR has been promoted in MZ's list of "who's the slowest person on the earth". Sadly, you are still on the list YR =), so don't be so happy yet!! haha =).
Hey...my first time typing as a RJC-ian too =) Actually that's quite delayed, seeing as it is already February 22nd. Ah wellz.. Orientation is officially over, so we are now inaugurated as real RJC-ians. Not sure whether I want to get swept up in the flow of academic stress, cca stress, social stress all over again.. Not as if I have any choice in the matter due to Singapore's rigid and inflexible academic system yar. Not like I have any special talents to develop anywayz ><. eeyer, why so pessimistic today!! should be happy its the weekend! haizzz. shit, i sound damn emo, nevermind. on to happier stuff =)
I really like my class!! As in really really =) I like the girls, i like the................guys (generally speaking they aren't too bad yar =) to quote YR, "it exceeded expectations". Haha! I really expected them to be like...juvenile and ermmm...ungentlemanly and stuff. but well, quite on the contrary =) !! ) The class dynamics are pretty cool! Everybody calls us the mugger class but we so are not!! We make horrendous amounts of noise during lectures and I think we are doing pretty good jobs pissing off our tutorial teachers. hehheh. but oh well, it shows we are a fun-loving, albeit slightly rowdy bunch of people =). I really like my good friends xian wei and nicole!! u guys rock haha! actually u guys probably wont know our blog so whatever. =). lol. but anywayz, you guys make my rj life so much more fun!!
Well, I kinda miss rgs though. especially 413... it's different now but that's not a bad thing i guess =)) haha. oh on to cca life! Im in band (again! haha, surprising right) and boon lay youth club!! i know a lot of people didn't think I would join band again but I dunno, i guess i preferred it over piano and other random clubs and societies haha =) and i actually know the people from band so it's better lol. Youth club camp is nxt friday-saturday!! looking forward to spending it with joyce, nicole and vionna =)) haha! im sure it'll be fun!! =))
Im not really used to rj life yet i guess, I don't really like the uniform even. damn scratchy lar! I miss my pinafore =((. dunno, i seem to be clamming up a bit, like, not as high as before =( but i think should improve in the months to come lar =). still a bit unfamiliar and stuff, and the campus is so humongous lol. so not cozy as rgs!! but i like the labs better =) much more windy and sunny haha! ok, that's a really random comment XP.
Ohhhh. Something going on YR?? I want details asap!!! haha. shall msn or sms u sometime about it. heehee. and don't worry about your problems with parents lar. they are bound to get a bit more protective in jc life right. my parents have some serious issues with me going online, and it's really pissing me off but nevermind. heh. I don't really want to live jc life like a hermit thank you very much mum and dad. Ergggg. nevermind.
Well I hope my issues blow over too =) esp the one i told you about. you're right, cant get much worse right. haha! like, it's a parabola at minimum point so it has no way to go but up?? LOL. reminder: math tutorial is due soon. oops

hmm cool, 1st time blogging as an rj-er (sposed to be rafflesian but er, not very informative) haha, er, not tt it's like very honourable or sth, but yeah, tt means i should update this poor blog on well, life latelyxP since the rus don't get to talk much nowadays also. =P (and the few times we actually meet, i either get a) my hair pulled or b) my bottom whacked, COUGH COUGH) hahahaa
hmms. aha! my class! hahaha my class's quite nice! fortunately. i still remember i was so scared the guys in humanz class r gna be really weird/girly/gay/weird fullstop XDD hahaha it's quite amusing actually, thinking back on all our (not too high) expectations of rj esp of the guys XDD heehe not tt they're really great, but at least they're normal, or wait, RELATIVELY normal compared to what we expected XDD HAHA. yeah anyway, my class's made up of generally really nice ppl, and they're at the same time generally funny, like some are really looney and all looney in different ways hahahaaa. ya so our class dynamics quite interesting XD
ohyeah i was complaining bout having so many free blocks when i first got my timetable, but now, im having (strong) second thoughtsXD cz the free blocks're quite nice actually, even though we seriously dun get anything done-_______- like we really just rot our time away la. god knows how many billion free blocks we've spent doing nothing alrdyxPP but ya, good time for class bonding la huhxP not tt our class bonds la-_______- but whatever, i still like the free blocks haha XP
hmm ah yes, rock! haven't really told u much bout it, ohyeah i must complain! my band keeps choosing all the guy songs haha, and some of them are totally ------------ in range la. and it's so hard to find female singers in rock bands. bleh. ohwell it's still quite fun la. =P but. i must go widen my listening scope. most of the songs i listen to/like are er, well, not rockXP hahaa.
eh on a random note. they got it all wrong when they came up with the idea that women are hard to read. nopes, it's the other way round. it's the guys who are harder to read la. or at least i say so XD haiya dunno what they're thinking la. (or whether they think, heehe ok im counting on our blog having zero viewership, otherwise if it gets seen by guys......erps heehe)
ohyea shall tell u bout my problem(s) next time, it's basically the same thing la, with my parents (as most of my problems seem to be) and about the same issue i told u bout last time, except this time it's more serious haha. ohyeah to make it even worse, there's really sorta something going on haha. not sure if u'll understand that, shall tell u more next time=P
and bout ur problem, hmm hope it'll get better, but for now just do those stuff and let nature take its course hahaxP hmm wow i sound philosophical! XD *bows* hahahaa but ya, i think it'll get better la, it's the only possible direction it can go. cz yknow, there's kind of a long way to go, it wouldn't be able to persist for so long, so yep it'll get better soon. so says YR the invincible, amazing, marvellous, fantastibulous fortuneteller XD hehaa.
